'Later that Summer, Jasmine was very interested to notice that I had put
two Solar candles into the garden amidst the flowers. (Solar candles gather light
from the sun during the day, and light up at night.) As soon as it becomes dark, these
Solar candles give out a lovely yellow light and illuminate the garden and the path around it.
"Now," Jasmine said, "I will be able to play out in the garden even in the dark!" Sure enough, a few days later, there she was in the dark looking at the Solar candles and singing:- Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, Solar candles, Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, Solar candles, Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, Solar candles, Shining brightly all night long, Shining brightly all night long.' |
